The Bicycle Shoppe has been renting bicycles in the Charleston area for over thirty five years.  We are open seven days a week and are located in the heart of the historical district of downtown Charleston. 

No reservations/first come, first served.

Additional Rental Information

  • ID and credit card are required for all rentals.
  • Credit deposit is required for overnight rentals.
  • Locks and helmets are complimentary with every bike rental.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age to rent a bicycle.
  • We have 1 tandem bike available.
  • We do not rent bicycles with child carries.

Bike Rental Options

26" Adult

Aluminum unisex adult frames with comfortable saddles and upright handlebars. The bicycles are custom made for The Bicycle Shoppe and are equipped with quick release seat binder bolts for easy adjustment.

24"

This unisex bike is a smaller version of our adult cruisers. 24” wheels and a smaller frame fits younger riders, typically 10 to 14 years of age.
