Marrington Plantation Trail

Conveniently located just 20 miles from Downtown Charleston and Mount Pleasant.

West Ashley Greenway

The West Ashley Greenway is a 10.5 mile hiking and bike trail located in West Ashley, just outside of Charleston, SC. The Greenway stretches from the South Windermere Shopping Center (on Folly Road) to Johns Island. Most of the route follows Highway 17. The Greenway can be used from dawn to dusk.

Hampton Park

This historic city park near the Citadel has an attractive pond and fountain, plus many large shade trees. The loop around the park is closed to traffic on certain afternoons so it is a great paved loop for any type of cycling.

Wambaw Motorcycle Trail

Yes, you can ride your pedal-powered bike out there!

Harbison State Forest

If you want to get out of town for the day, take a two hour scenic drive from Charleston to the beautiful Harbison State Forest.

Wannamaker North Trail

The Wannamaker North Trail runs within the north portion of Wannamaker County Park, accessible from Goose Creek. The 8 mile trail is designed for and open to mountain bicyclists of all experience levels. The trail is also open to hikers, walkers, and runners, but pedestrians should know that the terrain contains tight curves and elevation changes.
